Jenni House Residency Artist Talk / by Katie Ione Craney

While in remote residence with Jenni House, I gave a virtual artist talk about my process and what has led me to access-centered making. This recording is shortened and includes an ASL interpreter on screen and subtitles available to turn on. A longer version with my intro and second half discussion about image descriptions and translations with audience participation is available upon request.

On the left, “A Story About my Great-Grandmother,” an art piece dedication to my great-grandmother, Mary Etta, who is shown on the right, at age 10-12, while in attendance at the Gary School for the Blind. Jenni House Artist Talk - Transcript
