How does dis/comfort materialize in art about the North?
dis/comfort in the North features over fifty works from artists across sixteen countries. Curated by Katie Ione Craney, MA student in the Arctic & Northern Studies program, dis/comfort features a range of emotions, experiences, and stories, asking viewers to consider their own dis/comfort with the work itself, and reflect on the broader contexts of living in and visiting the North.
Join me in the gallery for a closing reception on October 30, 5-7pm.
