dis/comfort in the North

  • University of Alaska - Fairbanks (map)

How does dis/comfort materialize in art about the North?

dis/comfort in the North features over fifty works from artists across nineteen countries. Curated by Katie Ione Craney, MA student in the Arctic & Northern Studies program, dis/comfort features a range of emotions, experiences, and stories, asking viewers to consider their own dis/comfort with the work itself, and reflect on the broader contexts of living in and visiting the North.
